As we tweeted a little while ago, we have been given a wonderful kickstart to our makeover with a sleek and beautiful logo, designed by a good friend to MNROnline, Brad. Here below is our brand new logo!
We hope you are as excited about it as we are… we still have a ways to go with our makeover, but we have some great stuff up our sleeves! As for the guys, keep it locked on them as they continue their launch! We’re so close everyone!
As you all know, many changes are coming to Midnight Red Online and we are all very excited. We’re so excited that we wanted to give you a sneak peek…and this is all we can tell you.
Today the guys took their first steps in launching their very own charity, Midnight Red and Friends. They’re currently filming a PSA for “Stomp Out Bullying” and Wonka’s “Nerds Unite” campaign. They posted the following on their Facebook page:
Most people that really know us, know that we don’t take ourselves to seriously, are out to have a good time and give fans around the World what they want..fun music and a great show.
One thing people dont really know is how important giving back is to us. We have decided to launch our own charity called Midnight Red & Friends. This charity will benefit numerous organizations around the World as we grow.
One of the first things we are doing is teaming up with a fun company -NERDS/WONKA Candy on promoting the importance of Anti-Bullying which as you know is a major problem. We will be filming a PSA tomorrow that launches in June across many social media platforms. There a few celebrities also pitching in with their own PSA like our friends LMFAO.
Thanks for the support as we start gearing things up for the #MidNightRedMovement as 2012 is going to be one crazy summer.
As Midnight Red and Friends continues to grow, we will release more information on how YOU can win the “Build-A-Midnight-Bear,” which is autographed by the guys (scroll down a few posts if you haven’t seen it yet!).
Hey #RedHeads!
We have some fun stuff to announce on our site for the coming weeks! First and foremost, our entire site family, which includes all of our social media pages, are going to be getting a MASSIVE overhaul and makeover in the next few weeks. Thanks to our dear friend Brad, he will be taking on the daunting task of creating brand new layouts, backgrounds, graphics, animation, etc for our site! Please make sure you send him some love for doing all of this work for us!
Through the end of the month, #RedHeadOTW is going to continue to run as normal. Starting in June, we will be introducing some challenges and themes for picking our #RedHeadOTW. The site will handpick the weekly winners which will have a weekly feature on the site. At the end of the month, the fans, yes, YOU will get to pick a monthly winner as #RedHeadOTM! The monthly winner will get a full month’s feature on our site, complete with their submissions to our themes and challenges they completed to get to that point.
Street Teams, you guys are doing an amazing job! Keep rallying your fans, and remember, you can start requesting a little at a time at your hometown stations!
You heard it first on Mix 94.9 this morning if you tuned in, but our guys will be performing at the station’s first Mix Summer Spectacular on August 18th in St Cloud, MN! This is a huge opportunity for the guys, and the best part is, the station has taken notice of the hard work of the fans! Great work everyone, it’s because of YOU- the requests, Twitter, Facebook, etc. that the guys are getting recognition! Keep up the hard work, cause it’s only just getting started!
PS- We’re looking at getting to MN for the event… MN RedHeads keep an eye out cause we’ll hopefully be around!
So as you may know, The Today Show does a summer concert series every year and since the guys are getting ready to blow up, it’d be the perfect opportunity for them! “Sign” this petition (via Twitter). Tell you friends, family… Tell everyone you know to add their name to the list. Let’s show the world what the #MidnightRedMovement and the #RedHeads can do!

We’ve seen that Midnight Red Street Teams are popping up left and right! Keep up the great work everyone! As a fansite, we are going to branch and work with street teams as well, helping with coverage in Nevada, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Ohio, N/S Carolina, and Florida.
NOTE: We are NOT in charge of the street teams except for the ones we have personally started as individual people! We are simply providing an outlet for the street teams to promote, connect with one another, and we are more than happy to assist! You do not have to ask us if you can start a street team in (insert your location here). Feel free to start your team, and if you are interested in being added to our directory, let us know and we will be happy to add you to your state/region/country.

The guys will be calling in to the radio station, Mix 94.9 Radio TODAY at 11 central! Remember, this is the same station that premiered Hell Yeah on radio so let’s show them some love!
